The Americas head to school and give TripAdvisor Master Classes top marks

With Ollie the Owl and our top-notch TripAdvisor for Business team in tow, we crisscrossed North and Latin America this year with a series of free educational seminars specifically designed for hospitality industry professionals. Led by TripAdvisor and industry experts, these Master Classes covered everything from maintaining a positive online reputation to enhancing your website with free tools.

Attendees walked away with strategies for effectively reaching TripAdvisor’s 50 million monthly visitors and addressing a variety of business challenges with smart solutions. This year, our North American and Latin American stops were in San Diego, San Francisco, Miami, Montreal, Chicago, Dallas, Santiago, Buenos Aires, and D.C.

We asked industry professional attendees like you to tell us how we did, and you gave us high marks: with 1,216 attendees in total, we earned an overall satisfaction rating of 9.1 out of 10!

In North America, we received feedback like:

“I really liked that a USB was provided with the material from the presentation.”

“Excellent event. Loved the range of presenters.”

And while visiting Latin America, we were overjoyed to find that 100% of Attendees found the event “Extremely Useful/Useful.”

If you missed out, not to worry: 2012 will include a full slate of classes around the globe. We hope you’ll join us! You may even get the chance to meet our beloved mascot himself.
