300 Million People View TripAdvisor Content On Other Sites Each Month

Guest reviews are an important resource for travelers as they plan their trips. Recent research shows that more than half of travelers won’t book a hotel that doesn’t have any reviews. Another survey found that properties with more reviews see significantly more engagement than those with fewer reviews.

Because reviews are so important, a growing list of brands – including hotel chains, airlines, destination marketing organizations (DMO’s) and online travel agencies – have chosen to share TripAdvisor content on their sites. As a result, the number of people who view TripAdvisor reviews and opinions on other websites has doubled in the past year to over 300 million/month. The Red Carnation Hotel Collection, based in London, is a recent adopter.  They began displaying TripAdvisor traveler reviews and any corresponding management responses on their hotel websites.
